Good morning Ana, lets start with how
you found us?
Good morning. Quite
by accident actually. I was looking for a medication with minimal
side effects when I came across your techniques because I often
took antidepressants but found they made me drowsy and gave me
nightmares. I was interested by the explanation of how medications
work by masking the symptoms.
Why did you think that our methodology
would work for you?
Honestly, I didn't
really. You see I’d struggled with depression for many years and
tried anything and everything I could get my hands on. I’d spend
quite a bit of money on therapists, medications, herbal concoctions,
acupuncture… you name it, I tried it and they all gave me pretty
much the same result - short lived hope then disappointment. Every
time I thought I would get help it failed, so I didn't have any
great expectations that this would work either.
So, then why did you want to try it?
Out of desperation. I didn't really expect it to work but it
was a completely different approach to anything I’d tried before,
so I figured that I had nothing to lose.
Well, how did you find the program?
Wow, it was truly
eye opening. I couldn't believe how much better I felt when I
just understood what's really happening in my mind. I mean I had
no idea that my mind was applying any kind of structure to its
thought process. But when you think about it, it actually makes
perfect sense. I think it’s phrased in the book “How can you expect
to win the game when you don't know the rules?” - so true.
When did you start to feel a benefit?
Right away, I was really surprised that even after the first few
chapters I started to feel a sense of relief. It was like a light
turned on after so many years of darkness and I was suddenly seeing
things clearly. I was learning about the root causes of how and
why stress overtakes the mind, which was something that nobody
else had explained to me before. Not even my therapist.
Was it easy to blend into your daily schedule?
Yes, very easy. It
only takes around 20 minutes a day but once I saw how it was releasing
me I started doing it morning and night to speed up the process.
Do you still sometimes listen to the audios?
No actually I haven't
played them for ages. Once you learn the techniques, then your
brain just does it when you need it, without a conscious thought.
Now whenever I run into problems, I just go about resolving them
without all the stressing over it like I used to.
So how do you feel today?
Emotionally reborn.
If you told me when I was depressed that I would feel like this
today I would have laughed at you and thought to myself - that's
impossible, you haven't a clue what I'm going through. I can’t
explain it, I feel like a different person.
